REAL WEDDINGS AT The Kimpton Brice Hotel

Falling in love in Savannah

Here at The Kimpton Brice Hotel, we often wonder how many couples fall in love with Savannah as they're falling deeper in love with each other? Dan and Amber make the list. Chicagoan Amber visited Savannah monthly while Dan, a Connecticut native, was temporarily stationed at nearby Fort Stewart. The couple couldn't wait to come back to the Hostess City to tie the knot so they could share this Southern-charmed city with family and friends.

The ceremony took place in The Kimpton Brice Hotel's enchanting Secret Garden, a lush, open-air sanctuary canopied in twinkling lights. From this quiet retreat, guests moved to the reception in the second-floor Griffon room, featuring natural light and a private terrace overlooking Washington Square.

Memorable Details

All evening, Dan, Amber and their guests enjoyed fabulous fare provided by Kimpton Brice's own Pacci Italian Kitchen + Bar. (No doubt Dan's Italian relatives were in heaven.) Even the cocktails were special: Mint Juleps handcrafted by Pacci's Bar Manager, Sydney Lance, who had often served that very drink to Dan and Amber when the pair were dating.

Throughout the wedding weekend, the love birds enjoyed special touches like hand-written notes from Kimpton Brice wedding planner, Kristen Haddick, and the seersucker Kimpton robes they took home as a gift.

During the ceremony in the Wine Cellar, a gorgeous hurricane candle display decorated the credenza.

"The staff went out of their way to help us celebrate," reports the bride.

The couple departed amid laughter and sparklers on their way to happily ever after in St. Louis.
